International Trade Assistance Center (ITAC)

The Northwest Ohio ITAC provides export counseling to new-to-export small Ohio businesses and serves as the first contact for information, resources and referrals. Clients will be directed how to build an export process, identify key markets, make contacts and complete the sale of a product or service in foreign markets. Ohio takes an active role in helping businesses prosper. The goals of the ITAC are to assist companies just getting started in exporting by providing information and answers to export-related questions and providing training to develop export operations. The ITAC provides assistance with evaluation, foreign market research, international market plans, developing trade leads, locating financial assistance, export documentation, product packaging and labeling, foreign business practices and customs, and export resource and reference materials.
