Environmental Policy

Many new environmental laws and regulations are created in response to public fears of worst-case scenarios or freak incidents. Often they are not true remedies to real problems. The Chamber recognizes the benefits of a clean environment and advocates policies to maintain and reclaim a clean environment - as long as those policies are based on sound scientific principles and preserve jobs. To accomplish these goals, the Chamber monitors legislation, proposed regulations, and court rulings to keep Chamber members informed and to affect change when possible. Health Care Study
