Tools for Start-up Businesses
The Chamber has two programs to help with start-up business issues. Chamber membership is not required to utilize these services.
The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at the Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce offers no-cost business consulting. The SBDC provides free one-on-one counseling centered around the business planning process, including financing, market research, marketing strategies, and management and cash flow analysis.
The Minority Contractors and Business Assistance Program (MCBAP) at the Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce provides outreach for the Division of Minority Business Affairs (DMBA) into the minority business community. The MCBAP program offers no-cost business consulting and assists minority entrepreneurs with loan and bond packaging services, management, technical, financial and contract procurement assistance.
