Join us for a journey to learn more about the Toledo Zoo's special exhibit - the Wild Walkabout - Animals from Down Under. This special exhibit will be a huge draw for the Zoo and our community this summer and you have the opportunity to see it just after opening day! Coffee, light refreshments and networking will also be part of this adventure -- so mark the date on your calendar and join us for a special look at an intriguing exhibit!

Our location has changed so we may view Baru, the very large crocodile now housed at the Toledo Zoo. Our event will take place in The Reptile House.

Colleen will explain the types of products and services used by the City and how to go about connecting with the City to do business.

If you are thinking about starting, buying or expanding your new business, Charting Your Course is a seminar that will take the confusion and guesswork out of your efforts and help you avoid costly mistakes or unnecessary steps.

What You Will Learn:

A former business owner will walk you through the business planning process (including the financial section) and provide information on business entities and identifying your market niche. You'll also receive in-depth information on compliance issues such as taxes, deductions and employees. A section of this important workshop is dedicated to various funding programs and incentives.

What You Will Receive:

Attendees receive a free copy of Quickbooks Simple Start - Quickbooks' simplest financial management tool - and information software from Intuit on point of sale and accepting credit cards. Attendees also have access to the Small Business Development Center's free one-on-one business consulting services.

The cost for the workshop is $10 per person. Reservations must be made in advance to attend this seminar.
