| Nearly 400 business and community leaders gathered on a picture-perfect summer evening for the Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce's annual Clambake, presented by PNC. With this year's "From Sea to Shining Sea" theme commemorating America's 250th anniversary, the event was a celebration of the people, partnerships and businesses that make the Toledo Region a remarkable place to live, work and grow. |
Guests enjoyed a culinary journey across the country, prepared by the talented team at the Toledo Zoo. Four regional dining stations highlighted the diverse flavors that define America—from East Coast favorites like mini crab cakes and Bloody Mary shrimp shooters, to Midwest-inspired sliders and walleye bites, Southern classics including shrimp and grits, and Southwestern specialties at a build-your-own fajita bar.
The evening officially began as PNC Regional President Bill McDonnell joined Toledo Regional Chamber President & CEO Wendy Gramza to cut a ceremonial birthday cake, generously provided by Nothing Bundt Cakes, honoring America's 250th birthday. Guests also enjoyed individual bundtinis, Toft's ice rceam and complimentary wine at each table courtesy of Williams.
Throughout the evening, attendees took advantage of a variety of interactive experiences that added to the festive atmosphere. Hawaiian Pools provided patriotic stars-and-stripes sunglasses, New Era Technology sponsored rides on the Zoo's historic carousel, Bird's Eye View Productions entertained guests throughout the venue, The Squeeze Lemonade Truck served handcrafted refreshments, and DJ Frankie Jaye kept the energy high well into the evening.
More than anything, Clambake was an opportunity to connect—with colleagues, clients, friends and new acquaintances from across the region. The conversations, laughter and new relationships formed throughout the evening are what continue to make this one of the Chamber's most anticipated events each summer.
Our sincere thanks go to everyone who joined us, as well as the Toledo Zoo team, DJ Frankie Jaye, our photographer Jennifer Beachy of Grant Beachy Photography, and the many partners who helped bring this year's event to life.
We'll be sharing additional event photos from, as well as highlights and sponsor spotlights over the coming weeks. Until then, we extend our heartfelt appreciation to all of our sponsors, whose generosity and support make Clambake possible year after year.
Thank you for celebrating with us—we're already looking forward to seeing you next summer!
