| The sun set on another unforgettable evening as more than 350 Chamber members, regional leaders, and community partners gathered for the 2025 Clambake presented by PNC Thursday evening, July 17th. Hosted at the Toledo Zoo’s Malawi Event Center, this signature summer celebration brought together the region’s business community for an evening of networking, music, local flavors, and of course--a delicious New England-style clambake. (Unless you were a giraffe like Franklin here. He enjoyed his lettuce!) |
Guests enjoyed a mouthwatering menu featuring mini lobster rolls and crab cakes, shrimp and andouille skewers, herb crusted grilled chicken breast, rosemary roasted redskin potatoes, corn-on-the cob, and of course, steamed clams! Cake in a Cup’s “White Wedding”, “Cookies & Cream”, and “Pretty in Pink” cupcakes provided the perfect finishing touch (with a bit of an ‘80’s feel!) The dining experience was paired with cool cocktails, local brews, and the vibrant sounds of DJ Franki Jaye, setting the perfect summer vibe. And after the storms the day before, we were thrilled to need the sunglasses, sponsored by Hawaiian Pools, to enjoy the absolutely perfect weather!
Thanks to PNC, our presenting sponsor, for their continued support in making the Clambake a can’t-miss event.
We also recognize our supporting sponsors: gold sponsor Hollywood Casino Toledo; silver sponsors The Andersons, Glass City Center, Lakeside Interior Contractors, Medical Mutual, Ohio Council of Community Schools, Palmer Energy, RCO Law, Toledo-Lucas County Port Authority, The University of Toledo; sunglasses sponsor Hawaiian Pools; small business sponsor Toledo Pole Barns; community partner Nationwide Children’s Hospital; and bronze sponsors Cleveland-Cliffs Inc., The Lathrop Co., Mosser Construction and V+A Risk Services.
The Clambake is more than just a good meal—it’s a celebration of the relationships that power regional progress. Whether you’re a long-standing Chamber member or a first-time attendee, the energy was one of camaraderie, collaboration, and shared vision for the future of our business community.
“The Clambake is a highlight of our year,” said Wendy Gramza, President and CEO of the Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce. “It’s about bringing our members together in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere to connect, recharge, and celebrate what we’re building together in the Toledo region.”
