 | The Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce is excited to welcome Veronica Gonzalez to our team as Member Relationship Manager. Veronica brings a passion for people, community, and connection—making her a natural fit for our mission to support and strengthen the business community across the Toledo region. Originally from Bowling Green, Veronica returns to Northwest Ohio after spending the past eight years in Columbus and College Park, Maryland. Her professional background spans the retail industry and ecommerce warehouse operations, where she developed a strong foundation in customer experience and operational excellence. Driven to align her career with her passion for community impact, she made the decision to return home and pursue a new path—one that led her to the Chamber. |
Veronica was drawn to the Chamber’s role in supporting local businesses and fostering regional growth. “I have always been passionate about supporting local businesses, building community, and helping people,” she shared. “The Chamber is the perfect place for it.” She is especially inspired by the breadth of resources and services available to members and the tangible impact those offerings have on business success.
In her role, Veronica is focused on strengthening and expanding the Chamber’s already vibrant membership. She is eager to connect businesses across all corners of Northwest Ohio, helping to build an even more collaborative and engaged network. By developing meaningful relationships and connecting members to the right resources, Veronica is committed to helping businesses maximize their opportunities and thrive.
She is particularly excited to be part of the Membership team and looks forward to working closely with members to understand their goals and support their success.
One of Veronica’s proudest achievements is earning her Master’s Degree in Strategic Communication and Social Media from Bowling Green State University this past December. She credits the program with sharpening her strategic thinking and pushing her to reach new heights professionally—adding, “Go Falcons!”
Outside of work, Veronica brings a vibrant energy to everything she does. She has spent the past few years learning Latin dance, with a love for Salsa and Bachata, and encourages others to give it a try. She’s also a fan of reality television (especially anything on Bravo), enjoys staying active through fitness, spending time with her pets, and exploring her passion for interior design. And if you’re ever looking for a recommendation—Veronica proudly declares French fries as her favorite food category, always on the hunt for the perfect fry.
