The Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce is proud to welcome the Extreme Roller Hockey League (XRHL) as one of our newest members—bringing a fresh, high-energy sports concept to the region.

Founded in February 2026 by Adam Stio, XRHL is a professional roller hockey league launching its pilot season right here in Toledo. With a vision to expand regionally and nationally through franchise opportunities, XRHL is tapping into an untapped niche—delivering hockey excitement during the summer months when traditional ice hockey is off the radar.

U.S. 23/I-71 Connector Study Advances: What It Means for the Toledo Region

Last week, the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) released a Draft Conceptual Alternatives Study (CAS) as part of its ongoing U.S. 23/I-71 Connector Feasibility Study — an important milestone in a project the Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce has long supported.

For years, our business community has advocated for stronger, safer, and more efficient north-south connectivity between Northwest Ohio and Central Ohio. The release of the Draft CAS moves that vision one step closer to reality.
