Helping Entrepreneurs Move Forward and Strengthening Small Business Success

This month, we’re proud to celebrate Michael Tolson, Vice President of Small Business Services and Center Director of the Small Business Development Center (SBDC), on his one-year Chamber-versary with the Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce.

In just one year, Michael has brought strategic leadership, a passion for entrepreneurship, and a strong commitment to helping businesses grow and succeed throughout the Toledo region.

Last week, the Ohio Manufacturers’ Association brought together workforce and industry leaders from across the state to celebrate the continued impact and momentum of the Good Jobs Challenge initiative. As part of the event, partners and employers were recognized for their leadership and contributions to workforce innovation across Ohio’s manufacturing sector.

The Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce was honored to receive a Collaboration Award recognizing our Industry Sector Partnership, NOMA (Northwest Ohio Manufacturing Alliance), for demonstrating an outstanding commitment to regional collaboration and partnership. The award celebrated organizations working across sectors and institutions to strengthen workforce efforts, align resources, and drive collective impact for employers and job seekers alike. The recognition reflects the ongoing momentum of the Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce’s broader Talent Alignment Strategy and regional workforce initiatives.

The Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce Clambake, presented by PNC, has long been more than just a summer networking event. It’s where business leaders, community partners, entrepreneurs, and professionals from across the region come together in a relaxed environment to build relationships, strengthen connections, and celebrate the spirit of the Toledo Region.

Returning Thursday, July 30, 2026 at the Toledo Zoo Malawi Event Center, this year’s event embraces the theme “Celebrating America 250 – From Sea to Shining Sea,” transforming the evening into a culinary and networking road trip across America.

​Guests will experience regional-inspired culinary stations, summer cocktails, patriotic entertainment, and immersive experiences designed to spark conversation and connection.

We’re excited to welcome Natalie Dickinson, CPA, as the Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce’s new Vice President of Finance—a seasoned financial leader with a passion for people, community, and impact.

Originally from Columbus, Natalie came to Northwest Ohio to attend the University of Toledo, where she earned her accounting degree and met her husband, Steve. What began as a college experience quickly turned into a lifelong connection to the region. Today, she and her family proudly call Toledo home—and are enthusiastic advocates for all it has to offer.

Natalie brings a wealth of experience as a CPA in industry, having worked on the commercial side with organizations such as Owens Corning, La-Z-Boy, and most recently in the banking sector. Her career has been grounded in collaboration, strategic insight, and a strong appreciation for the people behind the numbers.
