Ohio is having a sales tax holiday this weekend beginning Friday, August 4, 2017 at 12:00 a.m. and ending Sunday, August 6, 2017 at 11:59 p.m. This means that an item of clothing priced at $75 or less, schools supplies priced at $20 or less per item or an item of school instructional material priced at $20 or less will all be exempt from sales and use tax.
