The MBAC provides crucial assistance in various areas, including business development, procurement, and financial management. Entrepreneurs can access personalized coaching, certification assistance, and connection opportunities with larger corporations and government agencies. This support is designed to empower minority-owned businesses, ensuring they have the tools and resources needed to succeed.
Operated by the Ohio Department of Development, MBAC centers across the state are dedicated to helping minority entrepreneurs navigate the complexities of starting and growing a business.
Fostering a Diverse and Vibrant Business Community in Toledo
The Toledo MBAC, in particular, has been instrumental in fostering a vibrant and diverse business community in our region. In their last fiscal year they assisted 727 clients with 2,146 hours of no-cost counseling and helped 81 companies obtain minority certifications.
