Meet Sabriyah Davis, the visionary founder and owner of Destination Picnic, a business dedicated to creating luxury outdoor experiences tailored to individual preferences. Sabriyah’s passion for crafting personalized picnics has transformed ordinary outdoor spaces into extraordinary escapes. Whether it’s a romantic proposal, an intimate gathering, or a corporate retreat, Destination Picnic brings elegance and nature together in thoughtfully designed settings.
With a commitment to making every event accessible, Sabriyah ensures that seating and comfort are top priorities, so everyone can fully enjoy their time outdoors. The Inspiration Behind Destination Picnic
Sabriyah launched Destination Picnic in June 2021, motivated by a desire to create a comfortable outdoor space for her birthday amid the COVID-19 pandemic. “People were socially cut off from each other during that time,” she recalls. “Being outdoors was one of the few safe ways we could reconnect with the people we cared about.” Combining this need for safe socialization with her flair for unique, luxury settings, Sabriyah developed her business to offer something truly special: curated outdoor experiences that allow people to show those close to them how much they matter.
The Clambake Connection
Sabriyah deepened her connection with the Toledo Chamber of Commerce at the 2024 Clambake presented by PNC, an event that provided her with a unique platform to engage with other business owners and community members. She found the networking opportunities invaluable, as it allowed her to hear the passion behind others’ businesses in a more informal setting. Her favorite part of the event, held at the Toledo Zoo, was seeing the playful polar bears, her favorite animal. "They’re so fun to watch, especially when they’re not sleeping!" Sabriyah says.
Looking Ahead
Sabriyah is eagerly looking forward to the Chamber’s upcoming Focus on Business Luncheon presented by KeyBank September 18, where she hopes to further her connections within the Toledo business community. As Destination Picnic continues to grow, Sabriyah remains committed to offering creative and luxurious outdoor experiences that help Toledoans celebrate life’s special moments.
