​The 2023 Ohio Export Report released last month from the Ohio Department of Development showed that:

• Ohio is the 10th largest exporter of goods in the United States.
• Ohio's exports in 2023 were valued at $55.8 billion, a 9% increase in the last decade.
• Ohio's exports went to 210 countries and territories. Canada was the top destination, followed by Mexico, then Asian countries.
• Industrial machinery was Ohio's top export product followed by vehicles, aircraft, electrical machinery, plastics, and optic/photo/medical instruments.
• Ohio leads the nation in exports of soaps/cleaning preparations/waxes as well as paints/dyes/putty.
• Service industries can also export.

Export Success at the Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce (TRCC) is a 5-session training program strategically designed to meet the needs of small and medium-sized businesses interested in expanding into global markets quickly and efficiently.
