A brief company history
AI OWL was founded to bridge the gap between artificial intelligence and the workforce. What started as a small startup with a vision to make AI accessible to everyone has evolved into one of Ohio’s leading organizations for AI education, consulting, and workforce upskilling. In partnership with Ohio TechCred, Intel’s Digital Readiness Programs, and educational service centers, AI OWL provides hands-on AI training and builds local capacity for innovation—from K-12 classrooms to large enterprises.
What does your company do
AI OWL delivers AI education, consulting, and implementation services that prepare individuals and organizations to thrive in the future of work. Through our flagship AI training programs, AI PC Labs, and customized workforce solutions, we help schools, businesses, and public agencies integrate artificial intelligence responsibly and effectively.
Tell us about your company culture
AI OWL’s culture is built around curiosity, collaboration, and continuous learning. Our team believes in staying ahead of the curve, not just by teaching AI, but by living it. We thrive in environments where creativity meets technology and every team member contributes ideas that shape the future of our organization and our clients.
What’s an interesting fact about your business most people don’t know?
AI OWL has trained thousands of Ohioans across schools and organizations, many of whom had never used AI tools before. Several of our high school interns have gone on to build real AI products like Jumper AI, a game that teaches players how to use AI tools through play, and Flash AI, a law enforcement communication analysis tool.
What business challenges keep you up at night?
Keeping pace with the rapid evolution of AI technology while ensuring our programs remain accessible and ethical. We’re not just teaching tools, we’re shaping mindsets around responsible innovation.
What trends/insights are you finding in your field/market?
AI is no longer optional, it’s becoming a baseline skill across every industry. From education to manufacturing, organizations are realizing that AI literacy is the new digital literacy. The biggest opportunity lies in helping people see AI not as a replacement, but as a collaborator.
What advice do you have to give emerging talent in your field?
Stay curious and stay human. The best AI professionals are not just technically skilled—they’re creative, ethical, and empathetic. Those traits can’t be automated.
If you would like to learn more, please join us on November 12th for our next Pizza & Politics lunch-and-learn where AI Owl will be showcasing tools that are on the market and their impact, as well as how they utilize Ohio TechCred to introduce collaborative hands-on training on readily available AI tools as well as custom tool development for organizations across Ohio.
