A Little More About John James:
What motivates you to jump out of bed in the morning?
The numbers. I love measurable metrics. Our work reduces costs for clients by measurable $$$$$$$.
When you’re not working, where in the Toledo Region do you like to spend your time?
I LOVE the Toledo Museum of Art. I grew up in Egypt where such a place didn’t exist. Even after 25 years, the same paintings still bring me great joy.
Do you have any advice for new business owners?
Think and monitor cash flow everyday.
What trends/insights are you finding in your field/market?
Companies are reducing headcount which creates more “cracks” where we find a lot of money.
What advice do you have to give emerging talent in your field?
Service sales is very different from product sales; it requires relationships much more.
Tell us about organizations/charities that you are passionate about.
I love Lott Industries and the work they do for people with special needs. I love playing the accordion for them seeing smiles on their faces makes me feel sooo good.
