| Julie Sanderson brings a deep love for Toledo, a passion for connection, and a proven track record in high-impact event execution to her role as Signature Events Manager at the Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce. If Julie looks familiar to you, she should! She previously held a similar role here at the Chamber from 2018-2021 and we are excited to have her back on the team! |
What drew Julie to the Chamber was its unique position at the crossroads of business, community, and opportunity. She’s energized by the Chamber’s regional impact and excited to help bring that impact to life through thoughtfully designed programs and well-executed signature events.
In her role, Julie is focused on creating meaningful connection points for members—delivering experiences that support the Chamber’s key areas of influence, including advocacy, emerging leaders, and workforce development. Her goal is simple but powerful: to create events that strengthen relationships, add real value, and help businesses, organizations, and individuals grow together.
Julie thrives on the energy of bringing people together. From collaborating with members and partners to supporting programs and events, she enjoys creating moments where connections feel intentional, engaging, and impactful.
Her proudest career achievements reflect that same spirit of community and pride. Highlights include planning fan experiences for the Solheim Cup, rallying more than 1,000 supporters behind the Toledo Symphony’s performance at Carnegie Hall, and leading Toledo-focused initiatives that celebrated the “Glass City,” 419 Day, and partnerships with University of Toledo NIL athletes. These efforts earned three consecutive global MAXI Awards for excellence and innovation.
Outside of work, Julie is a dedicated motorsports fan (though she prefers the passenger seat), a lover of Jane Austen novels and live musicals, and a fan of classic Midwest comfort food—especially a good steak and baked potato. She enjoys camping, race weekends, and lake time with her family, and she’s passionate about helping others find stability and success through her involvement with Goodwill Industries of Northwest Ohio and an active faith life that guides how she shows up for others.
With her experience, creativity, and heart for community, Julie is a strong addition to the Chamber team—and a key force behind creating signature events that connect, inspire, and move the Toledo region forward.
