That spirit was on full display during this year's Summer in the City, presented by Owens Corning, river cruise hosted by the Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce. Bringing together interns from organizations across the region, the evening gave over 70 participants the chance to unwind, connect with one another and enjoy one of Toledo's greatest views—the Glass City skyline from the Maumee River.
UToledo is committed to preparing students for meaningful careers and strengthening the workforce across our region through initiatives like ASCEND, which provides professional development, employer engagement and experiential learning opportunities for every student.
We are grateful to the Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce for creating opportunities that showcase everything our region has to offer. Together, we're helping students build careers while fostering connections to the people, places and opportunities that make Northwest Ohio a place to call home.
