 | Best way to beat these single digit temps? Embrace the ice at The Ribbon!! We had so much fun hosting our EPIC young professionals at the Glass City Metroparks’ ice skating facility. Over 40 young professionals braved the cold weather to spend some time enjoying our Glass City Metropark, and all the winter fun to be had there! The main component of the event was ice skating, where EPIC attendees rented skates or brought their own and skated around The Ribbon, with some even showing off a few tricks in the figure skating ring. Those who were not up for skating enjoyed a relaxing fire and heated cabana, where they could warm up and dive into good conversations. With our full-service hot chocolate bar, it was easy to enjoy the cold rather than dread it. |
Some members opted to stay inside the park's facility, enjoying appetizers from The Garden by Poco Piatti and a less chaotic atmosphere to get to know one another and make meaningful connections.
