2019 SITC EVENTS
The 2019 SITC program runs from June 6th through July 31st and offers you the opportunity to experience both the quality of life and the professional side of the Toledo Region. The Social Series is geared towards fun and networking, while the Development Series is aimed at enhancing your professional skills.

LPGA Marathon ClassicFriday, July 12th-Saturday, July 13th
Highland Meadows Golf Club 7455 Erie St. Sylvania, OH 43560 The Marathon Classic is one of the longest running events on the LPGA Tour-over 30 years! These ladies are good, so join us to cheer them on at the 14th Hole on Friday or throughout the weekend with free tickets! Each intern receives two tickets good for Friday or Saturday entry to the event. |

Killer Queen Concert in Promenade ParkFriday, July 19th
5:30-10:00 pm Promenade Park 400 Water Street Toledo, Ohio 43604 The ProMedica Concert Series aims to showcase one of Toledo’s great assets and bring the community together in the recently rejuvenated Promenade Park. Enjoy live music from Killer Queen, the longest established worldwide Queen tribute band. Each intern will receive one ticket for this event. Bring a guest for $10 each. RSVP by June 20th. Unconscious Bias

Unconscious bias impacts how leaders make decisions, including decisions about who is hired and promoted. Even those of us with the best intentions sometimes act in biased ways and don’t even realize we’re doing it. The good news is that we can overcome our unconscious biases to make better decisions, create an environment where everyone can share ideas and opinions, and help to build a more diverse and inclusive company. This session focuses on what can we do to avoid the negative impact or consequences of bias, how can we become more self-aware and learn to manage our filters, and identifying and responding to microaggressions (verbal, behavioral, or environmental slights) in the workplace.
