In response to the needs of our members, the Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce has launched the Center for Training & Development to address the skills gap by leveraging learning to drive business performance.

From leadership development and HR management to data analysis and cybersecurity, the Center offers targeted training programs tailored to meet the evolving needs of today's workforce, resulting in:

  • and improved job satisfaction

At the Center, you can choose from on-line learning solutions and live training. TRCC Certificate programs using a hybrid approach using on-line courses and cohort live sessions will be launching in early 2025.

This course offers a balance of the theory of leadership with some real-world application to help you develop this critical skill for personal growth and success.

Learn how team leaders must account for the special and unique circumstances of working in a team, where responsibility, accountability, communication, and leadership are shared.

Emotional Intelligence 

Emotional intelligence (EI) is our ability to identify and control our emotions to achieve positive outcomes in our relationships. Explore underlying concepts of emotional intelligence and how managers can improve and make use of it.

Leadership Styles

What kind of leader are you? In this course, you'll identify your own leadership style and learn how to build on your strengths to improve areas of weakness.

NEW CERTIFICATE PROGRAMS - Launching in 2026!

Each certificate program will focus on in-demand skills and offered in a hybrid format, combining on-line and cohort-based learning.

Each cohort will be small (8-12) and help cull the wisdom of the group while supporting participants to create a personal network of peers pursuing the same goals.

Cohorts will be led by professionals with experience related to the focus of the certificate program.  Participants will receive group coaching and mentoring during the program.
