Grant program now available
This grant program from the Fulton County Commissioners will provide eligible small businesses with up to $10,000 to cover business interruption expenses caused by the pandemic. To participate in the program, a business must have less than $1 million in gross annual revenue, have 30 or fewer employees or 1099 workers, and have experienced a decrease in gross revenue due to COVID‐19. Recommendations for local businesses available The Ability Center has unveiled a fact sheet designed to educate business owners on accessibility as they redesign spaces to prepare for reopening. As a service organization for people with disabilities, we understand our population is one of the at-risk groups for contracting this virus. The Americans with Disabilities Act provides that individuals with disabilities be afforded the same opportunities when accessing public accommodations. The community is encouraged to contact The Ability Center for assistance and support to ensure businesses are safe and welcoming to people of all abilities. |
