2016 Summer in the City Presented by Owens Corning
2016 Recap
Last summer, interns enjoyed events at iconic venues around the Toledo Region including the Toledo Museum of Art, the Metroparks, Imagination Station, and Fifth Third Field. They were given unparalleled access to new areas of the parks, invited to a kick-off party on the rooftop of Hensville, and introduced to industry leaders around the region.
2016 interns also had the opportunity to interact with young professionals from the Chamber's EPIC Toledo program. EPIC members served as mentors for the summer and were available to the interns to talk about life in Toledo and show them some of their favorite features of the region. The Chamber's summer intern captured the experience of four interns in the program this year. Watch the video to hear how the program influenced their opinions of our region.
