Summer in the City
Presented by:
Summer in the City presented by Dana Incorporated and Owens Corning is a unique experience for summer interns and co-ops to network and explore the Toledo Region. The program, created and hosted by the Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce, started in 2015 as a way to help interns build networks and show them what life would be like if they called Toledo their hometown.
The program is targeted at college junior, senior or graduate student interns who are working at a variety of businesses and organizations in Toledo for the summer.
Since 2015, the Summer in the City program has hosted over 1,200 interns and co-ops from 160 cities, 20 states, and 7 countries representing 60 colleges and universities.
These interns and co-ops have represented more than 65 companies in the Toledo Region.
The 2019 program runs during June and July and offers interns the opportunity to experience both the quality of life and the professional side of the Toledo Region. Social events are geared towards fun and networking, while the skills series is aimed at developing the interns into young professionals.
Summer Program Fee:
Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce Member Rate- $150 per intern
Non-Member Rate- $250 per intern
