After interning at the Chamber this summer, I had the privilege of returning to attend the EPIC Toledo Leadership Summit, presented by Buckeye Broadband, this year. This provided the opportunity to immerse myself in a rich environment of new perspectives, advice, and experiences shared by seasoned leaders. The Summit experience has undoubtedly enhanced my perspective on success and overcoming challenges and will continue to contribute to my ability to thrive in my future.
Here are some of my key takeaways and ways I plan to apply this experience to my life after graduation.

The Chamber is proud to announce that our own Brian Dicken, Vice President of Advocacy and Strategic Initiatives, was recently recognized by the Association of Defense Communities, or ADC, as a 2023-2024 Defense Community Champion.
The Defense Community Champions program celebrates leaders on base, in communities and across local governments and industry who make a difference in their defense communities.
November, with its golden hues and a hint of wintry anticipation, holds within it a profound invitation—to pause, reflect, and express gratitude. So there is no better time to say “thank you” to all of our members, and welcome our newest ones to the table.
Each new addition to our chamber brings a unique perspective and expertise that enriches the collective knowledge and bolsters our shared mission to create vibrant economic opportunities for all in our region. As we continue to work together, we aim to forge a path that not only benefits individual businesses but also contributes to the sustainable growth and development of our community as a whole.
Please help us extend a warm welcome to all our new members who joined us in October:
