GEM, Inc. Associate Named 2017 Toledo Area Engineer of the Year

The Toledo Area Engineers Week Committee along with the Toledo Society of Professional Engineers is pleased to announce that Daniel V. Stark, P.E. has been named the 2017 Toledo Area Engineer of the Year in recognition of his commitment to the profession. This award is presented annually to a member of the engineering community in recognition of the accomplishments and achievements that he or she has made to the engineering profession and the community. Dan is currently the senior preconstruction and operations leader for the GEM Process Solutions (GPS) team.

Last week, the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation (BWC) announced they will return $1.1 Billion back to Ohio employers in the form of a rebate, likely to arrive this summer.

Hale Performance Coatings, Inc. has been in business for 88 years. The company began in 1929 under the name “Hale Chrome Service,” and has been serving the Toledo Region manufacturing economy ever since. For 61 of those 88 years, Hale Performance Coatings has been a valuable member of the Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce. The family business is now in its third generation of ownership and has expanded their services to serve a 350 mile target base, even serving the international community in Canada.
