Export Success 2020: A Glimpse at Some of Our Member Mentors

On Jan. 24, the graduating class of Export Success 2020 began its journey to create export plans, learn how to become masters in exporting abroad and/or fine tune their existing export process. The 10-session course, hosted by the Export Assistance Network at the Small Business Development Center at the Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Regional Growth Partnership, is characterized by dedicated student companies and seasoned mentors. Paul Fudacz has nearly 30 years of experience in International Trade law.  He specializes in customs and import regulatory issues, export controls and licensing, legal audits, supply chain security initiatives and establishing and managing comprehensive regulatory compliance programs.
 
Prior to joining Braumiller Law Group, he held the position of Senior Counsel, International Trade for a global Fortune 500 vehicular components manufacturer. In that capacity, he was accountable for all aspects of import/export trade compliance. 
 
Paul has special expertise in the areas of HTS classification, anti-dumping and countervailing duties, customs valuation, customs seizures, bilateral and multilateral trade agreements, ACS Reconciliation, C-TPAT, Customs and FTC marking and ISA certification requirements. He also has considerable experience with EAR, ITAR, OFAC, and anti-boycott compliance. Beyond this area of practice, he assists clients in obtaining foreign trademark registrations.

Bob is a partner in the audit and accounting department with over thirty years of public accounting experience and leads the Construction Specialist Team. He has experience in working with clients in various industries from construction, real estate, service, distribution, manufacturing, and nonprofit to name a few. 
 
He can assist companies with transfer pricing, accounting, and tax. He’s a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Institute of Management Accountants, the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants, Ohio Contractors Association, the Construction Financial Management Association, and The Associated General Contractors of America.

Tom is the Program Manager for the Ohio International Market Support Program. This program is available to small and medium-sized enterprises interested in exporting at no-cost.  The International Market Support Program works with representatives internationally to provide opportunities for Ohio businesses to increase export sales and create jobs through this program. The in-market representatives assist with providing detailed market research and matchmaking with potential customers. They can also assist with local supply chain information, understand local regulations, local advocacy, leverage local resources, and much more.
