Don't let yourself or your business suffer because of the myths that precede the concept of exporting abroad. If you believe exporting is too complicated or unnecessary then I highly recommend that you register for Export Success 2021. Export Success 2021 is now 100% reimbursable for eligible companies who apply for the IMAGE Grant from the State of Ohio.
To learn more about Export Success or the IMAGE Grant, contact Sabrina D’Onofrio at [email protected].

Export Success is a 10-session export mentoring program that will not only help you and your company develop your export plan, but also dispel many myths about exporting. So, let's get to it.

Exporting is too complicated.

FALSE.
Contrary to popular belief, most exporting only requires a minimal amount of paperwork, so you don't have to worry about complicated boxes of paperwork just to get your service or product overseas. Here at the Export Assistance Network, we'll help you determine what paperwork you need, not only so you're filling out the correct forms, but also to help you ensure you're not doing more than you need to and wasting precious time on redundant forms. We'll also help you research potential markets to sell your good or service, or find distributors in conjunction with state and federal programs that are available to companies just like yours.

My domestic market is doing just fine – I don't need to export.
FALSE.
Thanks to globalization, it's much easier to buy and sell goods and services in numerous markets all over the world. That's good news for your business! New markets are always opening up to competition, and very few markets remain stationary. Many U.S. businesses are involved in or affected by international business whether they know it or not. Local markets can be unstable and oftentimes restricting your business to one or two small markets can mean greater risk to your company, leaving you open to any natural twists or turns that occur in that space. However, by exporting abroad, you can diversify your market and rely less on the stability of just one business ecosystem. The Export Assistance Network can help you formulate an export plan to achieve this – you don't have to do it alone.

The Export Success program. in partnership with the Regional Growth Partnership, is strategically designed to meet the needs of small and medium-sized businesses interested in expanding into global markets. This program can help you and your company develop plans to identify global markets, improve export efficiencies, understanding export financing and develop market entry strategies, to name just a few.

Not located in northwest Ohio? Don't worry, Export Success has gone VIRTUAL! That means wherever you are in the state of Ohio, you can take advantage of this incredible program from the comfort of your desk – or couch. Let's expand your reach and grow your business. Register for Export Success today.
