Upon switching, Riley found that she could utilize her newfound abilities to reach her ultimate goal once finished with college: Opening her own business. Now that Riley is on her last leg at BGSU she has come to the Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce with the hopes of adding to her already extensive resume. As the newest Communication and Events intern, Riley will be tasked with working directly with Chamber's many popular summer events, especially the Summer in the City program. Summer in the City, presented by Dana Incorporated and Owens Corning, is a unique experience for summer interns and co-ops to network and explore the Toledo Region.
Though she is our newest intern Riley knows a thing or two about the city. Hailing from Toledo Riley has hands on experience with the different events put on in the city. If you’re looking for a fun time in the area Riley recommends the Hensville district to all visitors of Toledo. While there stop on down and visit the many concerts put on by local bands or swing by a Mud Hens game if you’re feeling sporty. Regardless of what you do Riley is your go to person for any activities in the area.
The chamber is thrilled to have Riley on the team and can’t wait to kick off a summer of fun and adventure while she’s with us!
