Connecting Connections and more was established in the Toledo Region in February 2019 by Brian J. Roush. “We bring the network/connection to you,” he said when asked to describe the business. “Some refer us as a hybrid of a BNI, LinkedIn, and the Chamber. We focus on making solid quality relationships.”
Company Culture:
An Engaging & Creative experience.
What’s an interesting fact about your business most people don’t know?
I promise, even though it may seem spontaneous, we plan for success by focusing on measurable results.
What motivates you to jump out of bed in the morning? Motivation has come in many forms in my life, first being my son - the freedom of being present in my son's life in every aspect - not missing the moments. In speaking of Connecting Connections and more specifically, I adore the fact that I am actually adding value to someone's business and most cases, their life. As a 'solopreneur’ every connection leads to future business growth. |
That is a loaded question, figuring out what came first: the chicken or the egg. All kidding aside, finding solutions that are NOT ONLY achievable, but are executed with maximum results. Great solutions are amazing, but only if they are executed.
When you’re not working, where in the Toledo Region do you like to spend your time?
I feed off of the Social environments, so if you are there, invite me!
A classic is still a classic, business cards are still relevant and a handshake goes a long way.
What advice do you have to give to emerging talent in your field?
Slow down, assertiveness is good, aggressiveness is not. Nurture the relationship organically
Tell us about organizations/charities that you are passionate about. LLS (Leukemia and Lymphoma Society) has gained my attention over the last 3 years. I have been able to spread awareness on many levels, most recently as a LLS Man of the Year, All Star candidate. Greater Generations also plays a role in my life. As a member of the Executive Board, we are super excited to have programs and activities for Lucas County and surrounding areas. By working together to provide safe and positive activities, criminal involvement among youth will be reduced. Juveniles will regain trust, build respect, and open lines of effective communication throughout the community. |
