Farmers and Merchants State Bank is a publicly traded community bank serving Northwest Ohio, Indiana, and Michigan. The bank was founded in Archbold, Ohio in 1897 and in 2007 built their Perrysburg office. They've since expanded into offices in Waterville and Sylvania and have a total of 23 offices from Ft. Wayne to Sylvania.
Since our expansion from a single location in 1897 in Archbold, we have been expanding to attractive communities that expand the bank’s footprint and lending opportunities. - Robert Graham, Vice President - Commercial Banker
The bank is very involved in each of the local communities that they serve in both economic development and charitable activities. With 270 local employees involved in each community, they believe that community involvement is vital.
All of their commercial credit decisions are made locally, which tends to be a great advantage to local business owners.
