Established in Toledo by Fred Dannhauser, FocusCFO works with businesses that are growing, struggling or just need a little help to make some improvements. They specifically focus on the business and operations side, not on accounting.
Fred Dannhauser The company was originally founded in Columbus in 2001 and has 60+ CFOs in Ohio. Each CFO has at least 25-30 years of real, hands on industry experience and they understand a range of industries including manufacturing, distribution, services and non-profits.
Typically, FocusCFO works with companies that range in size from $2 million to $20 million in sales, although some are smaller and some are larger (up to $100+ million or more). Their approach is to provide an experienced CFO to the company under an arrangement ranging from 8 hours a month to 1-2 days a week. With an emphasis on maximizing internal cash flow, the CFOs typically pay for their services several times over in the first few months.

Fred spent the early part of his career in the oil industry and has more than 25 years of experience. He is also a current board member of Unison Health, a volunteer for Read for Literacy & Lucas County CASA. In the past he has also been involved with Assistance Dogs, Family Service of NW Ohio and Agility Angels
