Tom Keller, founder of Keller Trucking, began his lifelong career in the logistics industry as a young boy delivering watermelons to neighboring states from the family farm. In 1978, with more experience under his belt, he refused to be brought down by the recession and took advantage of an opportunity to grow his company in Defiance, Ohio. While in Defiance, OH Tom was able to recruit his nephew and Godson, Bryan Keller, to help out during the summer months. One thing led to another and Bryan is now the CEO of Keller Logistics Group. Over time, Keller Trucking has diversified to meet local needs and is called the Keller Logistics Group, which includes trucking, warehousing and distribution, freight solutions and packaging services. In addition to logistics, Keller has developed an outreach program that specifically assists local veterans and donates resources to a number of non-profits across the world. They just opened their newest location in June and we are excited to welcome them to the Chamber community!
Keller Logistics Group is an asset based 3PL solutions provider with four supporting affiliates: Keller Freight Solutions, Keller Trucking, Keller Warehousing & Distribution and Keller Packaging. They have an awesome history of success in Northwest Ohio, which can be found on their blog.

| Community Involvement Keller Logistics Group is extremely involved in the community, and incredibly conscious about their impact on the environment. In 2008 they began to partner with the US EPA SmartWay® Transport Program and have increased fuel efficiency in their equipment by more than 18% in the last 8 years. They also participate in the Adopt a Highway program to help keep highways clean and free of litter. |  |
Corporate responsibility is an ideal very important to the entire leadership team at Keller Logistics. Not only do they participate in environmentally friendly programs, they dedicate a significant amount of resources to local and national charities. In December, the company provides transportation for the Wreaths Across America program to deliver wreaths to the grave sites of America’s fallen heroes. In fact, the company was recently recognized by Wreaths Across America for, quite literally, “going the extra mile.”
Operation KAVIC, Keller Assists Veterans In Crisis (KAVIC), is a program that Keller has founded to assist local veterans. The program provides medicine, shelter, utilities, and expense assistance to active duty military, veterans, reservists, and National Guard members.
On the international scene, Keller also supports Soles4Souls, a non-profit that combats poverty by collecting and distributing shoes and clothing to those in need.
