Kyoto Ka opened their doors on Central Avenue in 2007, and has spent the last decade developing a reputation for excellence and quality. With growing demand, they opened an additional location in downtown Toledo in the Edison Building. "We genuinely believe that we offer the best Sushi and Asian cuisine in Toledo, along with our ever evolving cocktail and wine list. We are very proud and honored to serve quality food and beverages to our customers," says Seongho Cho. In addition to lunch and dinner services at both locations, Kyoto Ka does provide catering options for off-site events; as well as hosting everything from wedding rehearsal dinners and birthday celebrations to corporate meetings and business parties. Several times a year they also offer Sushi enthusiasts a Tuna Cutting Show, the popularity of which continues to grow.

Employing nearly fifty local residents, Kyoto Ka’s company philosophy has always been to treat staff like family members. “We believe that helping our employees, and supporting them in their personal endeavors will then result in a more positive working environment for everyone, and our guests take notice,” says owner Joseph Cho. Opening a location downtown has allowed the restaurant to further grow as an active member of the community. They were excited to hear about the progressive legislation that led to the DORA initiative, and are proud members of the program. With a continuously growing residential population downtown, they look forward to providing residents with a great atmosphere in which to enjoy delicious sushi and cocktails.
"We are more than excited to be part of the revitalization of Downtown Toledo and look forward to watching it continue to grow for years to come! -Seongho Cho
