Rehabilitation Hospital of Northwest Ohio has been part of the Toledo community since April 2016. We are part of Ernest Health. We serve the needs of 600 patients every year and employ more than 150 residents in our community. Our state-of-the- art facility includes 40 inpatient beds, a 6,000 square-foot therapy gym, a transitional suite, activities of daily living suite, and a therapeutic courtyard on the campus of UTMC.
An interdisciplinary team led by a full-time medical director works with our patients and their family members to create individualized treatment plans to maximize our patients’ recoveries. All our patients are provided 24-hour rehabilitation nursing care, daily physician management, and physical, occupational or speech therapies as appropriate.
We are proud to partner with America Heart Association, Salvation Army, Stroke Life Center, and Traumatic Brain Injury Resource Center in our community.
As our Guiding Principles state, we promote a healing and nurturing environment where everyone is treated with dignity and respect. We are passionate patient caregivers and team members, connected at the core by the treatment needs of our patients. We consider it a privilege to be able to offer specialized rehabilitative care to the community and are honored to be a vital part of Toledo, Ohio.
