Pete and Sue founded Tadmore Transportation with more than 20 years of freight experience, including warehouse supervising, truck driving, and shipping. The company was officially launched on Tadmore Drive in East Toledo; where the river, an expressway, and a former railway all meet. According to their website, “The name reflects our love of the transportation industry, the people who came before us, and the Toledo neighborhood. We are honored to give our carriers and customers a “tad-more.” They value 24/7 reliable communication, which allows them to work when their clients are working.

Tadmore Transportation was founded on the idea of being decent. Ownership team Pete and Sue believe in treating their drivers and shippers right. The team at Tadmore works hard to shrink the margin between shippers and carriers so that they are able to pay their drivers better and save their shippers money.
Raised in East Toledo, Pete enjoys giving back to the community through Food for Thought, Business Partners in Education, Read for Literacy, and also a member of the Toledo Chamber of Commerce, Sylvania Chamber of Commerce, the TIA, and OOIDA. Recently, Pete was able to bring attention to the logistics industry in Toledo by speaking at a conference in Las Vegas.
Sue is also proudly from the Toledo area, having graduated from the University of Toledo for her bachelor’s degree in Business Finance on a full academic scholarship. She achieved her Master’s degree cum laude, in Human Resource Development, specializing in Organizational Development and Instructional Design.
An avid life learner, Sue has been certified in business relevant concepts such as Stephen Covey, Dale Carnegie, Capital University Facilitative, Mediation, DiSC Behavioral Styles, COPE Ropes Course (BSA), LEAN and Quality (Florida Power and Light).
