Toledo Aerial Media was founded by life-long Toledo Region resident Phil Myers and later merged with Blacktip Aerial, a Florida-based commercial drone service company founded by Chris Aldrich.
Chris and Phil can be found at events and companies throughout the region. Both are FAA Certified remote pilots and enjoy capturing some of the most unique views of their client's projects. In addition to their core of clients in the Toledo Region, they’ve worked in 13 states around the nation, as well as internationally.
Locally, Toledo Aerial Media works with many organizations and businesses who form the backbone of the Toledo Region, including, but not limited to, City of Toledo, WTOL, Susan G. Komen Northwest Ohio, Metroparks of the Toledo Area, Toledo Police Department, Oregon Police Department, Rudolph Libbe Inc., Toledo Mud Hens/Walleye, Oregon Clean Energy, and more.

Toledo Aerial Media is much more than simply producers of aerial photo and video, they also excel in solving problems for clients by utilizing new and exciting unmanned aircraft technology. In fact, it’s common for clients to approach them with an end goal in mind, which they then reverse engineer to provide their desired results in the most efficient manner possible.

Chris and Phil utilize a fleet of drones which each serve specific purposes. Anything from smaller platforms for operating in confined or enclosed spaces to heavy-lifting platforms, which carry payloads ranging from high-end RED cameras to specialized data acquisition sensors. Their core offerings include aerial photography, aerial videography. 360° immersive content, aerial mapping and data acquisition, aerial inspections, thermal imaging, drone consulting, and unmanned aircraft training - however, they always welcome unique requests and new challenges!
