Owner: Matt Hartman, President/CEO
Established in Findlay, Ohio on Oct. 1, 2001

Tour de Force, Inc., celebrating 15 years of business this year, develops, sells, implements, and supports the Tour de Force suite of CRM (customer relationship management) and BI (business intelligence) software solutions. Their solutions provide the tools and features that sales organizations need to be more efficient and more effective.

About the Company
Matt Hartman, President and CEO of Tour de Force, grew up working in his family’s electrical automation distribution company, Findlay Electric Supply, which had been in business since the 1940s. After selling Findlay Electric Supply in 1997, Matt founded FESTech Software solutions, a software consulting, development, and training company. In 2001, Matt spun off the development arm of FESTech that had been working on creating a CRM application and started Tour de Force.

Tour de Force has extensive integration with various back-office systems that allows their clients to spot trends, manage sales goals, and improve the visibility of their quotes and opportunities. With Tour de Force, sales and service teams gain a 360° consolidated view of all key customer information, which allows teams to focus on increasing sales and delivering an excellent customer experience.

Currently, Tour de Force has approximately 50 employees in the areas of development, consulting, sales, marketing, support, and administration. The majority of their employees work out of the Findlay office, though the company has several employees spread across North America in Columbus, Texas, Colorado, Washington, Michigan, and Ontario Canada.

Community Involvement
Tour de Force participates in University of Toledo job fairs and has hired UT students as interns. They also have a relationship with Rocket Ventures in Toledo, and Ben Trumbull from Rocket Ventures sits on their Board of Directors.

Company Culture
The Mission of Tour de Force is to provide their clients with competitive advantages through the continuous innovation of a premier solution. They accomplish this by publishing unrivaled software and providing unparalleled consulting services in an environment where employees can meet their potential and thrive in an atmosphere of excellence.

Tour de Force believes in boosting office morale, which they do through their Team Building Committee. The committee keeps employees engaged and focused on team building throughout the year, with potlucks, an annual cornhole tournament that runs throughout the summer, family fun nights, etc.
