Where in the Toledo Region do you like to spend your time outside of business hours?
Most of Transnet's team members are from Maumee, Perrysburg and Sylvania suburbs. They are family men who enjoy spending time with their families every afternoon and, from time to team, with each other.
Advice for new business owners?
Get customers that want to be partners for a life time. Build other small businesses within the area.
Create employment for the youth, for those who are willing to work hard and make a change in society.
What trends/insights are you finding in your field/market? It seems like the freight around this area has been slowing down due to weather circumstances. At the same time, the market is experiencing an overflow of trucks, making prices cheaper or more expensive depending on the area. Transnet offers the best and most accurate pricing around. What advice do you have to give to emerging talent in your field? Join the Transnet network; work with the ones who have been doing it for a while. The Toledo Transportation Club. We donate every year to the club and contribute to the scholarship fund. We like to support local organizations. The Toledo Transportation Club is comprised of representatives from the trucking industry, railroads, airlines, traffic managers and other people involved with distribution of transportation. Our goal is to promote education and fellowship in the transportation and distribution industries.
