Local entrepreneur Fred Treuhaft is a lifelong resident of NW Ohio. When he retired from Plante Moran, a major regional accounting, consulting and wealth management firm on June 30, 2016, he knew he wasn’t finished making an impact on the business climate of NW Ohio. Taking not even a day off to celebrate his retirement, he got back to his entrepreneur roots and opened Treu Advisors, located in the offices of North Design.

Taking not even a day off to celebrate his retirement, he got back to his entrepreneur roots and opened Treu Advisors, located in the offices of North Design.
Currently, Fred is the sole employee of Treu Advisors and is using his business expertise to assist with strategy, succession planning, transaction consulting and advisory services, mostly at the board level. He believes in coaching and assisting his clients to define goals and challenge them to achieve their full potential.
Fred represents his company by staying very involved in the community. He is currently treasurer of the board of the Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce, and also sits on the UT Alumni Board, Rocket Innovations Board, College of Business Advisory Board and the Family and Closely Held Business Executive Committee. He is also the investment chair of the Toledo Jewish Community Foundation, The foundation board for The Historic Woodlawn Cemetery, and two supporting organization boards. He was also recently appointed to the Ohio Workers Compensation Board.
Fred represents his company by staying very involved in the community.
