Sandy and Amanda Lieto, a mother-daughter duo, started a mobile painting company in 2013. They traveled around the Toledo area to different restaurants, pubs, and in-home parties. Their permanent Wine and Canvas location on Monroe Street opened in June of last year. Wine and Canvas is a painting party with cocktails! They walk their guests step-by-step through the painting that has been selected for the evening, while guests enjoy sipping on their favorite drinks.
| Their studio has a full bar and snacks available. In addition to hosting Wine and Canvas events, they have Cookies and Canvas - for your little Picasso. Currently the location employs four artists and three assistants. Wine and Canvas is a national franchise and each location is individually owned and operated. The Lietos live in the area and are committed to sourcing their supplies locally and using area artists and staff. |  |

Sandy and Amanda give back to the community as much as they can. They recently donated to the FOP to help them prepare for the Holidays and to help families in need. They recycle their spare paintbrushes by donating them to local schools and youth groups to keep the arts alive in our local educational systems. Recently, they hosted a training seminar with Toledo Public Schools Head Start teachers to help them discover how to instruct art to their students and family. In addition to their educational outreach, the Wine and Canvas Toledo location donates gift certificates to multiple charity auctions and events and they participate in fundraisers with local schools, groups, and churches.
