Here at the Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce, everything we do ties back to one thing: fostering economic growth and supporting a thriving business culture throughout the region. We advocate for a successful and progressive business environment and we lead the charge in talent and workforce by attracting talent to the region and helping our members to retain that talent. Finally, we provide various series and resources to our members in order to connect them with opportunities for growth.
One of our favorite ways to get involved with our members and engage with them face to face is through our member ribbon cuttings. Ribbon cuttings, whether our members are starting a new business and celebrating a grand opening or simply celebrating the opening of a new wing or location, showcase the diversity of businesses throughout the Toledo Region and is just one way for our businesses to engage with the community and familiarize themselves more with the TRCC. Ribbon cuttings symbolize new beginnings and enable businesses to shine a spotlight on themselves, welcoming community members in and allowing them to share in the business’ success.
This year, we celebrated 25 ribbon cuttings with our members. From restaurants like Holey Toledough Handcrafted Donuts and The Taste Wine Bar to lodging options like the Courtyard by Marriott Toledo and even to schools like Glass City Academy, 2019 has been a defining year for businesses – and our members – around northwest Ohio.
We can’t wait to see what 2020 holds for new businesses, longtime members and the region as a whole. We look forward to the ribbon cuttings we have in the New Year and are thrilled for the opportunity to continue to showcase the vibrant economic atmosphere that is only continuing to grow and evolve here.
