Toledo is THE Glass City, and the nickname is no accident or mistake. The history of glass here in the Toledo Region is rich and deep, and we’re proud to be the birthplace of the American Studio Glass Movement. So, there’s no better place than right here to celebrate the United Nations’ International Year of Glass. Join us at the Toledo Museum of Art GlasSalon on May 17 to hear from our partners at Owens Illinois, Destination Toledo, The Arts Commission and the Toledo Museum of Art about how you can get involved in the International Year of Glass and what to expect during this year-long celebration.

Capitol Conversations presented by AT&T

Your voice can make a difference, and it deserves to be heard. There is strength in showing up, and Capitol Conversations presented by AT&T is your opportunity to do just that. Join us in Columbus on May 18 with other business leaders from the Toledo Region and demonstrate to our state decision makers and legislators that northwest Ohio is strong, that it matters and that what we bring to the table benefits our entire state. This is your opportunity to join in on the conversation with members of the House and Senate leadership in our state capital with representatives from the Ohio Department of Development and Ohio department of Transportation. This annual safety training and Bureau of Workers’ Compensation updates seminar fulfills your two-hour annual safety training requirement! Join us on the eighth floor of 300 Madison Ave. on May 19 to hear from representatives from Eastman & Smith, the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation, ProMedica and V+A Risk Services. This free seminar will keep you and your business up to date on everything you need to know about legal and compliance, what’s new at the Bureau of Workers’ Compensation, mental health in the workplace, and a notice regarding the 2022 estimated annual premium.

Clambake isn’t about formal wear, business presentations or formal handshakes, it’s about blue skies, delicious seafood and bear hugs. We can’t wait to get together simply for the joy of it.
