Our members should know better than anyone that though we're just a month in to the new year, we're already kicking off some fabulous new events and partnering with organizations to bring business leaders what they need to know from helping business owners secure grant money through our Toledo Small Business Development Center, educating community members on how to collaborate and do business with elected officials through the Institute for Leadership & Advocacy, helping young professionals develop their skills to rise through the ranks within their own organizations with EPIC Toledo's Emerging Leader Program Powered by Vistage, or through the upcoming Export Success class of 2021, for which registration is still open.

The V Project: Vaccinating Our Region. What Businesses Need to Know was a collaboration between the Toledo Chamber and The V Project, a regional initiative to spread the word about the benefits of vaccination against COVID-19 and slow the spread of the virus. The Jan. 26 webinar was the first of many to address the topics that business leaders should know before vaccines are available to the general public, and how they should prepare for the vaccination effort. Leaders from Mercy Health, ProMedica, the City of Toledo, the Toledo-Lucas County Health Department and more fielded questions toward the end of the webinar about topics including who is eligible to receive the vaccine and the legal concerns regarding vaccination in the workplace, among others.
