Are you interested in serving your community on a board or commission? The Chamber receives requests from local government officials for recommendations of individuals to serve in these capacities. These bodies exist for a variety of functions and consist of local leaders who use their expertise to make or inform decisions that impact the community. Many of these boards and commissions have a direct impact on the region’s business climate and it is important that the business community’s perspective be considered. Selection by local officials often entails a process that includes consideration of residency, professional and educational background, and past community activity. Members interested in being recommended appointment are encouraged to express their interest by completing and submitting a nomination interest form. Submitted forms will be reviewed and individuals will be contacted when a potential opportunity for appointment occurs. For more information please visit the Chamber’s boards and commissions webpage or contact Tim Schneider at (419) 243-8191 or tim.schneider@toledochamber.com.
