I am a third generation Toledoan. I spent the last ten years working in the steel industry developing my transferrable skills in workplace safety, project management, and leading teams. I am an extroverted introvert, meaning I feel equally happy mingling at community events or spending time at home with my family. Since 2019, my wife and I have been proud homeowners and have built a comfortable life for our two playful dogs and 1 diva cat (who we consider our kids).
What brought you to the Chamber?
Finding a career that gives me purpose is a priority for me. When thinking about the next chapter of my career, I knew I wanted to work at a local organization that is focused on bettering Toledo. I found exactly that with the MBAC program at the Chamber. I also look forward to utilizing my educational background in Entrepreneurship, Family, and Small Business.
What do you hope to accomplish in your role at the MBAC at the Chamber?
I hope to provide excellent services to every client I work with in the MBAC program. I know that the support, knowledge, and resources we provide can open new doors for clients. I want our clients to know that the team has their back every step of the way and that we look forward to celebrating their accomplishments.
What do you look forward to doing in your role?
I’m really looking forward to getting to know the clients that we serve now and in the future. The team here at the Chamber are passionate individuals that want nothing but the best for our clients and members. I am honored to be able to contribute to such a great team.
What is your proudest career achievement?
I am most proud of completing my bachelor’s in business administration from the University of Toledo. My college journey was nontraditional. I had prioritized paying for classes out of pocket and simultaneously working full-time in the steel industry. I knew all the hard work would be worth it in the long run and would better position myself to find a fulfilling career.
And now to get a little more personal...
Tell us a fun fact about yourself:
I love all things that come with the fall season. Fall Holidays, changing leaves, cooler weather, bonfires, crockpot meals, playoff baseball, and football season.
What is your favorite book or movie?
Twister is my all-time favorite movie. I wanted to be a storm chaser growing up because of it. I’ve seen the movie at least 50+ times and it never gets old. The most memorable viewing moment was getting to watch the movie at the Parkside Drive-in Theater.
What is your favorite meal or food?
It a tie between Italian and soul food. But my go to comfort meal is a homemade steak dinner.
Tell us about some of your favorite hobbies or things you are passionate about:
I love being outdoors whether it’s walking the dogs at a local park, playing catch, or swimming in my backyard pool.
